Making Connections {and mistakes}

Very exciting starting to connect with the writers in the Campaign! Frustrating that I made a mistake in the linky thingy re: my blog address but all of us get lost sometimes. I also find that making 'mistakes' often leads me to some real learning so I am trying to just accept this mistake and ask for help. I hope the other writers find me!

Today was a day of family and art. We went into the City and saw the Stein Collection at MOMA.  This is my third visit in the last two weeks. Art and writing are not separate for me. I try to write visually and paint in a writerly way—that being with honesty, attention to detail and plenty of light!

I took this picture thinking of Matisse and his ability to see the details that make an object into an image.
That is what I am looking to do with my words.
